o d d i t i e s: Stuff you just don't see every day... and it made me smile.
Parking: Outside an upper east side parking garage and nursery school. |

Nailed it: They could start by cleaning up the pole. |

Buck-Tooth Barn: This funny face greets me whenever
I'm back in Wisconsin. I finally snapped a pic of it while flying by at
70 or so. (No, I wasn't driving.)You can find it along Interstate 43 in
Sheboygan county. |

Residence in New York City: These people took a basement apartment and went wild. They dug out a lower level below that, and put in the waterfall fireplace and fish-filled stream that runs through the living room that you see here. The rest of the house had it's own oddities. I walked through the house as part of the Open House New York event. |

Exotic Auto: I'm touring the city with my friend,
Rebecca, trying to find this store, when I see a REAL Ferrari F40 just
parked right there on the street. And since I don't see this kind of Ferrari
every day, I didn't shy away from taking a few pictures of it. Rebecca
even snapped one of me in front of it; I'll keep that one to myself. |

New Pet? While sans glasses and contacts
one morning going for the milk, I noticed some large creature sitting
on my refrigerator. It sure freaked me out. Once I could see, I was amazed
to find that it was a gigantic grasshopper. I sent hijm on his way. There's
enough wildlife in this apartment. |
Fearsome Sailors: My first sailing regatta, and they
throw a costume party to celebrate the approaching Halloween weekend.
These thistle pirates stole the contest with their drunken antics. I haven't
laughed so hard. |
Window Washers: This probably isn't uncommon, but
I was surprised to see these guys when i looked up one day in New York
City. The window washers for this SHoP designed building in Chelsea are
just harnessed up like mountain climbers. |
